Mercy
Chris Pratt is held against his will in a chair talking to an A.I. (Rebecca Ferguson) the entire film, so any other characters we see are in phone calls or video footage. This didn’t bother me, I thought it was engaging. It’s a similar vibe to 2018’s Searching and 2023’s Missing where the entire film takes place on a computer screen, so if that bothers you, I’d skip it.
Jurassic World Rebirth
The only things I liked about this movie were Jonathan Bailey, Mahershala Ali, and a very satisfying dino chomp.
Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning
The story surrounding Luther is the only part the writers seemed to put genuine care and thought into. It works extremely well and stays true to character, while the rest of the film has me questioning how, even in the world of Mission: Impossible, any of these characters have jobs.
