Since this is a spoiler-free review, I obviously won’t tell you what the secret is, but I am interested to see people’s reactions to it. Personally, I felt it was dark and edgy, but I didn’t think the characters’ reactions were warranted.

If you like The Hunger Games or Netflix’s Squid Game, I suspect you’ll like The Running Man. It follows Ben (Glen Powell), who is unable to afford medicine for his daughter, so he joins a game show to earn some cash. Then he gets forced into a different show in which contestants try to make it 30 days without being killed by the show’s hired assassin squad.
