Right off the bat, we see Joan and Larry bicker like the old married couple they are, but they don’t seem like the best match. Then there’s Luke, who died forever ago and never chose an afterlife because he’s been waiting for Joan (swoon) all these years. Seriously, how do you compete with that?!
Freakier Friday
Jamie Lee Curtis (reprising her role of Tess) acts circles around everyone else—as she should, she has the most experience—so it was great to have her paired with Lindsey Lohan (reprising her role of Anna) for most of the film since they are such a fun duo. That said, Julia Butters (who plays Anna’s daughter, Harper) and Sophia Hammons (who plays Harper’s step-sister-to-be, Lily) hold their own and give great performances.
